Welcome to Addicted 2 Run, a website made since july 2011. It was build to log all my pictures / movies / blogs from my running competitions and training results.
I collected so many pictures of all my running competitions and it is easier to build a website and publish it to sponsors and fellow runners who are also addicted 2 run!!

I'm trying to update my blog monthly!!!!

I'm sharing this passion with my best friend and fellow marine,  Robert Jan Vos.

Last June 2011 we ran the Marathon du Mont Blanc together for the first time. What does it mean ; The start is in Chamonix, France at an altitude of 2000m at the Plan .
Praz, just like the finish after 42.195km. You are running more then 2400 altimeters.
The highest elevation will be at the Aquilles des Posettes, from 1100m altitude to 2201m and then when you reach the top, back to 1400m.
The race is a limited trail run marathon around 1500 runners.

Robert Jan Vos and i collected more then 6000 euro for the cancer foundation. So we had one target.........Defeat the Mont Blanc and run till you can't go any further!!!

I have a lot experience on different race distances, however i know my passion is on distances above 42km and then especially on the trails and in the mountains. Every run is a big challenge for me.

Last year i was searching for a sponsor and i found one, Runnersworld Hoorn. For more information

http://www.runnersworld.nl/stores/hoorn/

The gave me running clothes / shoes and all other equipment i needed for the races. I would like to thank them!!!!

The other big sponsor, Sport, Health & Beauty Centrum Julien, helped me with all my training schedules and training in height cabins so i could run at an altitude of 2400m in the Netherlands. 2 people assisted me all the way, Haico Scharn & Jenneke van de Berg, both run addicts!!! Without them i couldn't make it so far! Thanks to you 2!!
